The Shaw Guild Presents: Secrets of Niagara Garden Tour 2008

The OVBG Gardens is home to Canada's largest "Contemporary Peony Collection".  The Festival starts on .  The Peony Show will be held on Saturday with over 140 peony blooms from the Durham area being judged.  There will be a wide variety of displays and presentations throughout the garden.  This festival coincides with the peak of the bloom cycle, the festival is a weekend long event with something for everyone.

The Nobleton--King City Horticultural Society celebrating its 50th anniversary is holding its annual Garden Tour on Sunday July 13th from 10:00am till 4:00pm. This is a great chance to see a good variety of local private gardens only open to the public for this event. Advance tickets at $10.00 each which include a map showing the location of each garden are available from the Primrose Garden Centre on Hwy. 27 just north of the King Road in Nobleton, Crawford Wells Store on Keele Street at the King Road and the Black Forest Garden Centre on Keele Street just south of the Aurora Road. Similar tickets will be available at each garden on the tour.
