As many of our members come from all points of Ontario you can be sure to find the unusual, high performing plants. There will be seedlings of Alpine plants from other parts of the world.
There will be a Concession area for local vendors who will be bringing their specialties for sale. Rhododendrons, alpines, bulbs (garden import beauties) to name a few.

Vancouver, BC – Rose enthusiasts from around the World are coming to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, for the internationally acclaimed World Rose Festival and Convention. This event is the ultimate rose experience, with the Convention attracting rosarians from across the globe and the Festival offering the public a complete indulgence in everything to do with roses.
The Vancouver Rose Society, in conjunction with the World Federation of Rose Societies’ World Rose Convention is hosting the World Rose, being held June 19 to 21, 2009 at the newly completed Vancouver Convention and Exhibition Centre. The World Federation of Rose Societies, the Canadian Rose Society and the American Rose Society will host the World Rose Convention 2009, June 18 to 24, 2009, at the Westin Bayshore Hotel, Vancouver. “We are very pleased that many of the world’s top international rose experts will be coming to share their knowledge, research and experience with delegates,” says Gerald Méylan, President of the World Federation of Rose Societies. “We have speakers coming from New Zealand, Norway, Russia, South Africa and China to list a few.
